This week’s challenge over at: Crazy4Challenges the challenge is to make a white on white card. I was in the mood to make something floral so I decided to make white rose and one of my favorite embossing folders by Spellbinders:

The Steps:
Step 1: First cut a pc. of white cardstock into a rectangle that measures 5.25″ x 7″. Put this rectangle into the embossing folder and run through your cutter/embossing machine.
Step 2: Create a base card by scoring an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of white cardstock at 5.5″ Fold for a book fold, Adhere step 1 to the front of the base card.
Step 3: Make 3 roses and their leaves from white cardstock. If you have never tried making paper realistic flowers by Susan Tierney Cockburn, here is the tutorial video for making these exact roses: Susan’s Rose 1 video tutorial
I constructed my roses directly onto the embossed folder layer on the front of the card making sure the finished arrangement would be centered into the oval.
Step 4: I used a die for the sentiment that I honestly don’t know the manufacturer’s name, but use it often for sympathy cards. I bought on HSN yrs. ago and is a set of “word” dies. The butterfly is from Elizabeth Craft Designs, but is discontinued.
