This month our hostess gave us the challenge to make a coffee theme card. I just made a coffee theme card for the sketch last month! So as I was trying to think of another coffee theme idea for a card, I remembered that my oldest daughter had given me a “coffee cup” wall art that I love and hangs in my craft room:
I needed a image of a “Good Man” however, and then I remembered Dr. Digi digital stamps had a Super Hero stamp and that became my “Good Man”. This would also work for a one layer card challenge. It’s fast and easy.
The Steps:
Step 1: I created the front and inside sentiments on my computer and printed out the base card. Before I scored the 8.5″ x 11″ now printed base card, I put I sized the digi stamp of a super hero and put the base card back into the printer and printed the digital stamp. Then I scored the base at 5.5″ on the long side and folded over for a book fold and trimmed to 5.5″ x 7″.
Step 2: I cut out a bunch of stars with Gold Mirror card stock and adhered them as shown. Then I added a shadow under the super hero to ground him with a Copic marker.
That’s it! Doesn’t get any easier than that!
Thanks for stopping by for a quick look. Please join the challenge this week because we love looking at your creations!

Love it! To be honest, I wasn’t expecting the “coffee” reference on the inside…I was expecting a “cardmaking” reference. Your daughter must be pleased to know she gave you a great gift that, not only hangs on your wall, but gave you this inspiration. Great card.
