Celebrate!

tent front h20

I can’t believe it’s already the last Saturday of January.  The challenge this week at: Crazy4Challenges  is to create a card of celebration.  I made a birthday card for two reasons.  First, the die set used for this adorable camping scene is from Karen Burniston and is called: 1048 – Tent Pop Up.  When you click on the red product like you will also find Karen’s assembly video for this adorable die set.

The second reason I chose a birthday card is because my daughter bought this set for me for Christmas and her birthday is in February!  She also bought the accessory die set called: 1049 – Camping Charms  I used several of the dies from this set for the front and the camping scene inside.

Camping Charms

The little “Ducks” are from Impression Obsession and is: Die398-F Duck Set

The little plant pot on the right “tree stump” is: FRA-Die-09822 Gardening Pots (set of 4 dies)

The little (rose tree) in the pot is one Rose bush from: 1196 -Garden Edges – Rose Hedge

The “flip flops” on both the front and inside right lower corner is a Silhouette File.

I hope you’ll join us this week and show us how you’re celebrating!

I have been crafting with paper for several yrs. now. I am a single mother of four grown children (2 boys, 2 girls) and a grandmother of 6 (5 girls and 1 boy). I still work as a hairdresser part time at a beautiful retirement community in San Ramon, CA My passions are: gardening, sewing and crafting with paper while watching my favorite TV shows. I have an amazing dog named Shelby who I just can't imagine life without. I hope, with this blog, that I will inspire, teach, prevent costly mistakes in your journey and well, just have a lot of fun creating.
