C4C 437 Go Barefoot Day!

Actually, Go Barefoot Day was yesterday, so the challenge over at Crazy4Challenges this week is to put something on your card that is barefoot.  I am a big fan of Conie Fong’s Digital Stamps.  This cutie is called “Puppy Love“.

The Steps:

Step 1:  Size, print and color this adorable image.  I colored her with Copic Markers.  Then cut out the colored image with the second to the largest die from this set Elizabeth Craft Designs 1118 Stitched Squares:

Step 2: Cut a scallop mat with the largest die from this set out of a coordinated color cardstock: Elizabeth Craft Designs 1175 – Dotted Scallop Squares

Adhere the image layer to this scallop layer with Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Step 3:  Make a base card by cutting a 12 x 12″ pc. of cardstock in half.  Score one half at 6″ along the long side.  Fold over for a tent fold card.  Cut a background mat out of a coordinated print cardstock that is a 5.75″ square and adhere it centered over the base card.  Adhere the image sandwich, centered, to the card.

Step 4:  Add a sentiment and a few hearts and it”s done!  The 3 little hearts I used in the left lower corner were just leftovers from other projects.  The “Hugs” sentiment is from:
