C4C407 – It’s National Dessert Day!

Hey Friends, who knew we even had a national dessert day?  Well, we do!  So this weeks challenge is to make a card with Dessert of any kind on your project.  It’s a busy week for me this week so my card is a very simple one.

I love this Art Impressions stamp.  I’ve used it many times.  It was meant for Valentines but can actually be used for a lot of occasions.

The Steps:

Step 1:  First stamp the image on white cardstock and color with Copic Markers.

Step 2:  Using Elizabeth Craft Designs Nested Die set 1120 below cut out your stamped and colored layer with the third largest die.  Out of pink cardstock cut a layer with ECD 1174 the second largest die.  And cut another rectangle from lavender cardstock with the the largest die.

Step 3:  Make the base card by scoring an 8.5″ x 11″ pc. of white cardstock on the long side at 5.5″.  Fold and trim to 5.5 x 7″.  Now adhere your layers as shown.

Step 4:  I created this sentiment on my computer then cut it out with this set:

I have to admit this is not an original sentiment I created.  I just remember seeing it somewhere and thought it appropriate here.  I would love to know whom to give credit for it.  Ink the edges of this tag with purple ink.  Adhere this tag to the front.  I added an ECD Glitter dot to each purple corner and that’s it!

Thanks so much for taking a look and I recommend that you hop on over to the other designers blogs to have a closer look at their project too!
