A C4C 389 Challenge – Put a rose on it.

This weeks challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges (or C4C) is to include at least one rose on your card or designer paper with roses on it.

On my card, I used Susan’s Garden for Elizabeth Craft Designs “998 – Garden Notes Rose 2”  Then I also used Susan’s “1196 – Garden Edges Rose Hedge” for the little roses on top of the birdcage.

The birdcage by Dies R Us and Doily by Carnival Masterpiece behind the birdcage are from these two die sets:

The embossing folder is from Elizabeth Craft Designs and is called “Entwined Hearts”.

My finished card measures  5 x 7″.  I started with white cardstock 8.5 x 11″ scored at 5.5″ on the long side.  After folding the card I trimmed it down to the finished size.  The light grey with white polka dots is from Michael’s and meaures 6.25″ by 4.5″.

Thanks for taking a look.  I appreciate your time so much!

I have been crafting with paper for several yrs. now. I am a single mother of four grown children (2 boys, 2 girls) and a grandmother of 6 (5 girls and 1 boy). I still work as a hairdresser part time at a beautiful retirement community in San Ramon, CA My passions are: gardening, sewing and crafting with paper while watching my favorite TV shows. I have an amazing dog named Shelby who I just can't imagine life without. I hope, with this blog, that I will inspire, teach, prevent costly mistakes in your journey and well, just have a lot of fun creating.
