Thank you to Nurses Challenge C4C384

May 6th was National Nurse Day.  So over at Crazy 4 Challenges, this weeks challenge was to create a thank you card for a nurse.

The above picture is obviously the inside of this card.  As soon as I saw this challenge I wanted to make a card for my friend Shelly who is the most “bad ass” nurse I know!

I found this digital image from Dr. Digi House of Stamps called Night Nurse Nina.  She reminded me a little bit of my friend.  I could also see me using this Nurse for many other humorous cards.  If you have never tried Digital stamps before you should give them a try.  There are some real advantages to digital stamps.  You can make them any size you want, they’re stored on your computer instead of a box or drawer and very inexpensive.  Nina was $1.00!  I know, what?  This company is so responsive to their customers.  For example, when I left a message on my order I received a personal email from the owners of how much they appreciated my comment and couldn’t wait to see what to see what I made with my purchase.  I know!  Who does that these days.  I hope you will all hop of to their store and take a look.

I have been crafting with paper for several yrs. now. I am a single mother of four grown children (2 boys, 2 girls) and a grandmother of 6 (5 girls and 1 boy). I still work as a hairdresser part time at a beautiful retirement community in San Ramon, CA My passions are: gardening, sewing and crafting with paper while watching my favorite TV shows. I have an amazing dog named Shelby who I just can't imagine life without. I hope, with this blog, that I will inspire, teach, prevent costly mistakes in your journey and well, just have a lot of fun creating.
