It’s been a crazy week for me. Crazy days at work because as a hairstylist right before a holiday is crazy busy. And, my little dog Shelby ate a chocolate desert that my daughter made for me and I left it apparently where he could get to it. So, I spent 5 hours at the Vet Emergency Hosp.
However, because Freshly Made Sketches gave us a pretty easy challenge I was able to make a card. Here’s the sketch:
Here’s my entry
So here’s how I made it. The base card is 5×7″. The red layer is a 4.75×6.75″. The white embossed layer is 4.5×6.5″. The sweater is a Silhouette digital file. I then created the sentiment on my computer and freehand cut it into a banner shape and another red banner shape to attach underneath. I then added red jewels. And, that was it! This would make a great sketch to use for making a batch of humorous Christmas cards. Especially if you used a purchased die cut at a craft store and even purchased banners. You could create a batch of cards in no time at all.
Great card. Is that sweater really ugly?; if so, I’ll have to throw mine (that looks just like it) out. LOL. Believe me, I have them much uglier than that! Love how you gave all the directions…even a beginner card-maker would feel comfortable trying this…simple but FABULOUS!

Thanks Carlene, I know, I have one that’s worst too and I actually asked for it for Christmas that year!
