A Crazy 4 Challenges Entry

This is my entry for this weeks Crazy for Challenges

This weeks challenge is a color challenge!

Normally, this challenge site gives you a sketch to follow but not this week.  It’s a color challenge.  I actually had trouble this week because I think of red, green and yellow or gold as Christmas colors.  However, the designer stated that the color choice for this challenge was in honor of October and fall.  So who wouldn’t think of fall leaves?  I started with a yellow cardstock mat that I embossed with a Darice embossing  folder called Clouds I then use a white PanPastel to color the clouds only.  The tree and leaves are a die set called “All Seasons Tree” by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.  This is one of my favorite die sets.  Well, everything Karen designs is one of my favorite things to coin a phrase from Oprah!  The white fence is a die set by Marianne Designs for Creatables.  The grass and Happy Birthday banner is a digital file from Silhouette.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look and were inspired!

Materials used are mentioned above.

I have been crafting with paper for several yrs. now. I am a single mother of four grown children (2 boys, 2 girls) and a grandmother of 6 (5 girls and 1 boy). I still work as a hairdresser part time at a beautiful retirement community in San Ramon, CA My passions are: gardening, sewing and crafting with paper while watching my favorite TV shows. I have an amazing dog named Shelby who I just can't imagine life without. I hope, with this blog, that I will inspire, teach, prevent costly mistakes in your journey and well, just have a lot of fun creating.
